Spring is here and so is momentum! From new markets for our growing Drilling division to a landmark project in Fargo and expanded storage in Grand Forks, MAK Construction is building bigger and reaching farther than ever. Here's a look at what's been happening across the company.

DIVISION UPDATE — GEOTECH DRILLING
MAK Drilling is on the move — literally. We now operate across North Dakota, Minnesota, Montana, Iowa, and Missouri, bringing our geotechnical drilling services to more clients and more regions than ever before.
We've built strong relationships with industry leaders like Terracon and Braun Intertec, and this spring, we completed our first project for Barr Engineering— another trusted name in the geotechnical world. We're proud to be earning the trust of top-tier engineering firms across the region.
On top of that, we're kicking off a major new contract in April — the largest in the division's history — valued between $500,000–$700,000+. Big things are happening in the drilling world, and we're just getting started.

Project Spotlight
Northdale Oil — Fargo, ND
NORTHDALE OIL — FARGO, ND
One of our most exciting active projects right now is the Northdale Oil development in north Fargo. This 11,592-square-foot facility is a full-service convenience store and liquor store, complete with diesel fueling, gas pumps, a certified automated truck scale, dedicated truck parking, shower facilities, and a two-bay car wash.
It's a big build with a lot of moving parts, and we're targeting fall 2026for completion. The site is also designed with future expansion in mind — so this is just the beginning for Northdale in Fargo.

PEPLINSKI CONSTRUCTION
Behind every great project is a great team — and on the Northdale job, that includes our framing partner, Peplinski Construction.
Led by August Peplinski since 2019, Peplinski Construction is a lean, skilled crew of 4–6 specializing in post-frame and commercial construction across North Dakota and western Minnesota. Their craftsmanship and reliability have made them a natural fit for the Northdale build, and we're grateful to have them on the team.

COMPANY GROWTH — MEGA MAK STORAGE EXPANSION
Demand has spoken. Our Mega MAK Storagefacility in Grand Forks has been operating at near-full capacity with little to no vacancies, so we're expanding!
The latest phase adds more heated storage units to meet ongoing demand, along with a brand-new offering: contractor shops complete with office space and bathroom facilities. These are purpose-built for local construction and trades professionals who need a functional, year-round base of operations.
