General Contracting Superintendent
Position Overview
The General Contracting Superintendent is responsible for managing the daily operations of construction sites from planning through completion. This position ensures all work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The Superintendent provides leadership to on-site teams, coordinates subcontractors, and fosters collaboration with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management & Oversight: Plan, organize, schedule, and monitor all work activities on-site to meet project milestones.
- Safety Leadership: Maintain a positive and proactive safety culture, conduct regular safety meetings, and enforce OSHA and company safety standards.
- Quality Control: Monitor field operations to ensure adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
- Coordination & Scheduling: Develop and maintain a 3-Week Look Ahead schedule with the Project Manager.
- Cost Control & Performance: Monitor workforce productivity and implement improvements where needed.
- Project Close-Out: Ensure timely completion of punch-list items and obtain necessary Certificates of Occupancy.
- Supervision: Lead and manage foremen, carpenters, laborers, and other field staff.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control practices.
- Leadership and organizational skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore preferred).

Administrative Manager
Position Overview

Key responsibilities include office & administrative operations, project & construction support, financial & HR support, and client relations.

Concrete Finisher/Laborer
Position Overview
As a Concrete Finisher/Laborer at MAK Construction, you will be responsible for smoothing and finishing poured concrete surfaces for various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand and power tools.
- Set and secure string lines for accurate form placement.
- Operate construction equipment such as skid steers and loaders.
- Apply curing and sealing compounds to concrete surfaces.
- Patch and repair concrete as needed.
- Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and work areas.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a concrete finisher or laborer preferred (training available for motivated candidates).
- Ability to operate skid steers and loaders (or willingness to learn).
- Strong work ethic and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
