Mid-Summer Momentum
A FEW WORDS FROM OWNER, MARC…
Growing up working for my dad, I remember him always saying, “Real money in construction doesn’t get made until after the 4th of July.” That stuck with me—and honestly, it still holds true today.
This time of year is when things really start clicking. Crews are in rhythm, the weather (usually) cooperates, and we can make real progress. Right now, our team is firing on all cylinders, and I’m hearing great things from both clients and subs. That’s what we love to see!
But we’re not slowing down. I’m focused on keeping that momentum going through the rest of summer and into fall. That means staying proactive—finding the work, chasing the right opportunities, and showing up for our partners the way we always aim to.
To our clients: thank you for trusting us with your projects. And to our subs: we couldn’t do any of this without you. Let’s keep pushing, keep building, and finish strong together.

Fitting a Year’s Work into a Few Months
“How do you guys get so much done in such a short season?”
It’s one of the questions we hear the most—and for good reason. In the Upper Midwest, the construction window is short. But we make every single day count.
With strategic scheduling, extended shifts, and a dialed-in crew, we compress a 12-month timeline into the 5-6 months that Mother Nature allows. Every hour on-site matters. Our team shows up ready to work—fast, efficient, and always focused on safety.
“We set lofty goals each week, based on metric tracking from previous like projects. This and the utilization of up-to date technology and pouring practices allows for increased production and quality.”

Concrete PM & Estimator

MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN BEMIDJI, MN
After severe storms swept through Bemidji, MN, leaving the city without power and neighborhoods covered in fallen trees and downed power lines, our team didn’t hesitate—we hit the road to help.
MAK partnered with city leaders, the Chamber, and the United Way to support cleanup and recovery efforts. It wasn’t about the work—it was about the people. Residents needed help, and we were proud to stand alongside others in the community to get it done.
Moments like this remind us that being a builder goes beyond job sites and concrete. It’s about showing up when it matters most and making a difference where we can.
